The CanalPro Jeni endomotor gives dentists freedom of choice and the safety and efficiency of guided root canal preparation

Guided Root Canal Preparation
The CanalPro Jeni is multifunctional, Dr. Alborz said, and can be used for rotation or reciprocation, enhancing efficiency. With most units, you only get one or the other.
The unit’s digital assistance system, Jeni-Move, is designed to start in rotation and then convert to reciprocation when the file meets resistance. This allows for safe and efficient root canal preparation.
“This protective feature minimizes file separation,” he said. “If the file continues to rotate upon binding in the canal, there’s a high risk of fracture. This reduces that risk, which is particularly useful for general practitioners.”
The motor also has a built-in apex locator, ensuring clinicians maintain an accurate working length throughout instrumentation. Dr. Alborz lauded the large touchscreen, which makes it easy to shift between functions during treatment; the cordless foot pedal that reduces clutter in the workspace; the unit's exceptional torque; and the small contra-angle head that enhances visibility.
Advanced and Versatile
The software controls file movement at millisecond intervals, and while any file system can be used, the unit comes preprogrammed for HyFlex and MicroMega NiTi file systems.
As an added safety measure, acoustic signals sound when the motor detects impending file breakage or when irrigation is required.
“It’s a highly dependable motor,” Dr. Alborz said. “It’s not going to malfunction during treatment. It’s a very reliable workhorse that can be tailored to any technique.”
