CORE¬FLO DC is a dual-cure, fluoride-containing dentin replacement material offering convenient automix delivery.
BISCO describes CORE¬FLO DC as a versatile, dual-cured material that is ideal for core build-ups, post cementation, and dentin replacement. Radiopaque CORE¬FLO DC contains fluoride and is available in Natural/A1 and Opaque White shades, as well as a contrasting Blue shade. The high radiopacity of the material makes it easily identifiable on a radiograph.
Immediate Hardness and Cuttability
According to BISCO, once CORE¬FLODC is cured, it is easy to prepare and has perfect hardness in both light-cured and self-cured modes. A Lorain, OH, dentist with 26 years of experience lauded the product while evaluating it for Dental Product Shopper. “[CORE¬FLO DC] cures to a very hard set very quickly,” he said, adding that it is immediately cuttable after light curing. Another evaluator from Washington, DC, said, “I like the hard-ness after it sets. [It] is comparable to enamel.”
Handling
CORE-FLO DC stands apart from other available build up materials, according to a 14 year veteran evaluator from Austell in Georgia. BISCO describes the product as nonslumping and possessing excellent flowability that eliminates post cementation voids for an ideal result. His positive review suggested certainty of future purchase and recommendation to colleagues - confirming CORE-FLO's status as one of his best ever used products due its ease placement and handling properties.
Delivery System
CORE¬FLO DC has a dual-syringe delivery system that was rated by the majority of participating dentists as excellent or very good. One evaluator said there was “minimal waste with the delivery system.” An evaluator from Wayne, NJ, who described the delivery system as excellent, said he especially loved the choice of tips.
