With no resinous base, the viscosity of Bio-C Sealer Ion+ is facilitated by a long-chain alcohol, polyethylene glycol. Therefore, the product is more biocompatible and easier to clean. The material has about 67.5% bioceramic content, releasing calcium ions to form mineralized tissue.
Bio-C Sealer Ion+ can be used for both cold single and lateral condensation techniques. With one syringe, it is possible to perform 10 to 12 root canal obturations. The alkaline pH and excellent marginal sealing offer safety and high rates of success in endodontic treatment. Best of all, there is a lack of postoperative pain.
