Sealing the Deal
EdgeEndo's EdgeBioCeramic product line includes the EdgeBioCeramic Sealer, a unique resin-free formula that is highly biocompatible and hydrophilic. Unlike conventional sealers, it does not shrink, which eliminates the need to compact gutta-percha. Best of all, it eliminates the challenge of adequate working time by coming in a premixed syringe that can be applied immediately and directly into the root canal.
EdgeEndo's latest-generation sealer, EdgeBioCeramic ThermalFlow Root Canal Sealer, is specially designed to work well with warm obturation techniques—offering a lower viscosity when heated. Like the original EdgeBioCeramic Sealer, it is premixed, hydrophilic, highly antibacterial, and radiopaque, with virtually no shrinkage.
Yet another sealer option is NeoPRO, a bioactive paste consisting of an extremely fi ne, inorganic powder of tricalcium/dicalcium silicate in an organic medium. The ready-to-use paste requires no mixing and sets in vivo in the presence of moisture provided by surrounding tissues. It is radiopaque, resin-free, bioactive, and will not discolor teeth. It comes in 2-gram syringes with 15 disposable tips.
