It is the only adhesive that I use. It’s made my life and practice of dentistry a lot simpler, a lot faster, and a lot easier,” shared Dr. Thomas Dudney, highlighting the efficiency of BISCO’s All-Bond Universal adhesive.
A Truly Universal Adhesive
For more than a decade, clinicians have turned to the versatile All-Bond Universal for its proven reliability and effortless application, including Dr. Alan Pressman, who has made it a staple in his Spring Valley, NY, dental practice.
“All-Bond Universal has excellent bonding strength, and it isn’t difficult to use,” he shared. “I have not had any issues. It’s affordable, easy to use, and I know it will work. I’ve been using it for a few years and I’m happy with it.”
All-Bond Universal simplifies bonding by offering the flexibility to be used for total-, self-, and selective-etch procedures. Containing the adhesion-promoting MDP monomer, it adheres effectively to dentin and both cut and uncut enamel, supporting a wide range of direct and indirect restorations across all substrates. It is compatible with all light-, dual-, and self-cured composite and cement materials.
“One material does it all,” Dr. Abraham Jaskiel assured. “It’s an etchant, primer, and adhesive, all in one.” Dr. Dudney said, “It is very successful in bonding both types of direct and indirect restorations to tooth structure. It’s one of the reasons I’m such a big fan.”
The 6-mL single-bottle system also affords ease of dispensing, providing enough adhesive for clinicians to bond approximately 145 restorations
Another key advantage, according to Dr. Devin McClintock, is that it eliminates the need for a separate activator. “You’re not introducing a ton of different systems for every case,” she said. “It’s very consistent across the board, which makes it easier for my assistant to stay organized.”
Built for Strength and Durability
All-Bond Universal can be used on wet, dry, or moist tooth structure, and due to its low water solubility, the adhesive will not wash out over time, ensuring lasting bond strength.
Reflecting on its performance in the presence of moisture, Dr. Pressman shared, “I used a suction device, but the area wasn’t 100% dry. Even still, I was able to complete the MO restoration in record time using All-Bond Universal.”
Its low film thickness ensures the restoration is completely seated, which minimizes postoperative sensitivity. “The no-etch adhesives I used before regularly caused postop sensitivity,” Dr. Jaskiel noted. “As soon as I started using All-Bond Universal, the incidence of sensitivity decreased dramatically.”
“I have certain criteria that I measure success with, and the 3 big factors for me are debonds, microleakage, and postop sensitivity,” Dr. Dudney explained. “After 10 years without experiencing these issues with All-Bond Universal, I consider this a very successful product.”
