Friendships that withstand the test of time share something special—a strong bond that remains unscathed, even in the face of life’s pressures and challenges. These cherished connections are built from trust, resilience, and adaptability, which grows into unwavering stability and support throughout the years.

Akin to such friendships, dental cements like BISCO’s TheraCem and Duo-Link Universal exhibit these same qualities, establishing a reliable bond to most substrates and durable cementation of indirect restorations to natural tooth structure. Effectively adapting to dynamic forces and environmental changes within the oral cavity, these adhesive resin cements offer clinicians and patients the confidence of a lasting restoration.

TheraCem: Self-Adhesive Resin Cement

A dual-cured, calcium- and fluoride-releasing, self-adhesive resin cement, TheraCem contains MDP to deliver a strong bond to zirconia, metal, and alumina with no priming or etching required. Additionally, its high degree of conversion enables a higher physical strength, its low film thickness ensures restorations are completely seated, and its high radiopacity affords quick, effective diagnoses.

TheraCem’s automix, dual-syringe also provides a consistent mix for immediate delivery. After bonding, TheraCem transitions from an acidic to alkaline pH in minutes.1 It is also specially formulated for quick and easy cleanup, as tack curing for 2 to 3 seconds enables the removal of any excess cement.

Duo-Link Universal: Resin Luting Cement

Duo-Link Universal adhesive resin cement is intended for use with universally compatible adhesive systems, including BISCO adhesives. It can be used in tandem with BISCO’s All-Bond Universal light-cured adhesive and either Z-Prime Plus or Porcelain Primer to provide the optimal cementation solution for virtually any indirect restoration.

The dual-cured material will cure even in deep restorations where light cannot reach, which ensures good clinical performance. It is indicated for most cementation procedures, including CAD/CAM restorations, and its automix, dual-syringe also guarantees a perfect mix and easy placement.

Duo-Link Universal is available in 2 esthetic shades—Universal and Milky White. The Universal shade is a translucent A2, and the Milky White shade has a higher opacity and can be used to help mask darker tooth preparation. Both shades have a low film thickness for complete seating of restorations.
