At the conclusion of this course, the oral health care provider will be able to:
- Deliver safe patient care employing the most current infection control practice standards set by leading U.S. agencies.
- Adopt technological advancements in a safe manner that improves the patient care experience while keeping the dental environment safe.
- Identify compliance gaps in office policies and procedures and take mitigating steps to decrease the risk for disease transmission.
- Develop strong written office protocols for PPE, surface disinfection, barrier protection, reprocessing, and water/vacuum line maintenance.
