The Perio Protect Method
Perio Protect uses 1.7% hydrogen peroxide gel (Perio Gel) delivered via a customized FDA-cleared tray (Perio Tray) to establish an oxygen-rich environment that simultaneously debrides pathogens and encourages wound healing. Patients wear the tray for 15 minutes a day.
Perio Gel penetrates deep below the gum line to disrupt biofi lm and ensure a healthy microbiome. This noninvasive, pain-free treatment increases patient satisfaction and treatment adherence. "However, you’ll need to warn patients of two serious side effects—potentially whiter teeth and fresher breath," Dr. Davey said, referring to the benefits many patients enjoy.
