SidebarInfused with Adaptive Response Technology, Harmonize helps clinicians achieve lifelike restorations with more ease and simplicity than previously done. Additionally, the nanoparticle filler network provides better blending capabilities and enhanced structural integrity to ensure that restorations have exceptional strength and unmatched esthetics without compromise. Dr. Brian Harris recently brought Harmonize into his practice, so we asked him to share his experience.

How has Harmonize made you more effective in terms of practice workflow and bottom line?

In my practice, the most valuable resource is my time. If I can use my time wisely and find ways to be more productive, it is the quickest way to increase overall profits in the practice. Anterior composites, and composites in general, can be extremely profitable if you are working with a predictable material that does exactly what you want it to. When I redo a resin filling because of poor color match or add additional material to a void, my productivity decreases substantially. The adaptive responsive technology in Harmonize along with the color options allow me to get it right the first time.

In your experience, what are the top 3 ROI benefits for dentists who use Harmonize in their practices?

My top 3 benefits for Harmonize are:
1. Moldability and ability to sculpt...I’ve never seen anything like it. It allows me to get the exact shape I want on the first try.

2. The color truly does have a chameleon effect. It’s not too opaque and not too translucent—the properties are the best I have seen for getting a good color match.

3. More anterior resin work always leads to more veneer cases, so it allows me to open the window of opportunity to discuss more complex cosmetic cases with my patients.

What makes Harmonize stand out from other universal composites in the market?

I have never actually worked with a universal composite that I use both in the posterior and the anterior until now with Harmonize. I think that’s what really makes it stand out. I no longer have to have several different types of composite—one composite can be used for both procedures. What makes it unique? What makes it unique is how it handles and polishes. That will be the biggest differentiator between Harmonize and other composites on the market.
