What made you decide to purchase Mojave LT 3?
When I built the office, I took pride in making it eco-friendly—from LED lighting and digital x-rays, to going paperless and chartless, to a state-of-theart sterilization center that’s designed to reduce our carbon footprint. Yet it bothered me that our previous vacuum system used so much water even though it has a Hydromizer, which uses only a quarter as much water as the wet units consume. One of the major attributes of Mojave LT 3 is that it runs on zero water and is energy efficient. I feel that with the addition of the Mojave LT 3 Tankless Dry Vacuum System, our eco-friendly office is now finally complete.
How often does Mojave LT 3 require maintenance?
We have only had the unit for a couple of months, and so far it has required no maintenance of any kind. I was told by the reps and technicians that the unit requires very little routine maintenance. There are no expensive filters to swap monthly since the unit is a dry tankless system. Some older units require oil, but this one does not. It does however come with a touchscreen display panel for monitoring vacuum level, voltage, temperature, pump frequency, and separator RPM. The machine will warn you if the pump or separator requires maintenance.
The Mojave LT 3 is powerful yet quiet compared to other vacuum systems. Can you talk about the decibel levels?
It has a constant yet mild whistle sound. If a normal conversation at home is around 60 dB and whispering to your significant other is about 20 dB, I’d say the Mojave LT 3 is around 50 dB.
