eCEMENT

Universal resin cementation system combines an innovative team of products for simple, successful, and esthetic placement of lithium disilicate restorations

eCEMENT dental adhesive cementation system The dream cement has many qualities in tow—among them a low film thickness, nonirritating nature, radiopacity, and the ability to close gaps at margins. It also helps when it’s easy to use and clean up. But strength and retention, especially when a cement is up against indirect restorative materials like lithium disilicate, are non-negotiable.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Dr. Paul Chaiken said when asked about the retentive properties of BISCO’s eCEMENT. He primarily uses the universal resin cementation system to lute crowns in his Skokie and Chicago, IL, practices. “The retentive aspects are the most impressive feature of eCEMENT,” he added. “I can’t think of a crown that’s come off since we’ve been using it.”

A Strong Reputation

eCEMENT is specifically designed to create a strong and reliable bond to lithium disilicate materials, which are available in high and medium opacities and high and low translucencies. To ensure strong retention and esthetics for all types of lithium disilicate restorations, eCEMENT is available in both light- and dual-cure resin cement for successful cementation of veneers, inlays, onlays, crowns, and 3-unit bridges.

"eCEMENT is strong and has little to no sensitivity. It's my go-to cement."

-Paul Chaiken, DDS

The light-cured resin cement flows into milled cement spaces and is fully reactive at 2 mm to the absorbing light energy, while the dual-cured cement ensures polymerization in places where light cannot reach.

“eCEMENT is strong and has little to no sensitivity,” added Dr. Chaiken. “It’s my go-to cement.”

The eCEMENT system team of products includes Select HV Etch, 4% Porcelain Etchant, Porcelain Primer, and ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL. They work together to silanate and treat the lithium disilicate, condition tooth structure before bonding, and create a sealed surface to both dentin and enamel.

“BISCO products in general are well researched, and the chemistry behind them is excellent,” said Dr. Chaiken. “I’ve been really happy with all of the materials I’ve used from the company.”
