Evaluation of biaxial flexural strength and fracture toughness of a zirconia – reinforced dental ceramic

A study by the College of Dental Medicine, Columbia University, NY compares biaxial strength and fracture toughness of lithium disilicate, leucite reinforced glass ceramic and zirconia reinforced lithium silicate. In this comparison IPS e.max CAD showed significantly higher biaxial strength and fracture toughness.
