Continuum led by world-class implant experts combines didactic learning with hands-on training, giving Aspen Dental-supported providers the confidence they need to succeed
These days, more and more patients want and expect their general dentist to offer implants, and not meeting that expectation could put your practice at a disadvantage. Still, learning how to place implants can be expensive, making it difficult for young dentists already in debt to get the high-quality training they need to be successful.
Taking the First Step Is Easy
That isn’t an issue for providers within the Aspen Dental network. The Aspen Group (TAG) University's implant continuum teaches these clinicians to place implants through a comprehensive program covering the complete implant process from diagnosis to delivery. The course combines didactic learning with live, hands-on training, making it well suited for new and experienced dentists alike. Dr. Aaron Crittendon, who has been practicing for 4 years, recently completed the continuum and is now confidently taking on implant cases. Without Aspen’s support, taking that step forward would have been much more difficult.

Implant Basics and Beyond
Through the implant continuum, providers within the Aspen Dental network learn the basics of implantology in a self-paced online setting before moving on to 3 didactic in-person courses that focus on diagnosis, treatment planning, and implant restoration.
Attendees wrap up training with a 3-day in-person experience including live implant placement at the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence in Chicago. There, industry-leading implant experts guide dentists through the 31-CE curriculum and continue to provide support long after they finish the program.
