CE Webinar: Infection Control in the Real Dental World

This thought provoking CE webinar is open to Dentists, Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Office Managers, Students and Interns. Our goal is to provide all positions of the dental team ways to implement more effective methods of infection control and sterilization that ensures patient safety but also safe from long term exposure of chemicals and aerosols to the dental team.

Consideration is also taken on the safety of continual chemical exposure to our instruments and surfaces and how product selection will either shorten the life and integrity of dental instruments and devices or enhance the longevity.

Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will have covered:
• Identify Real World Challenges in keeping thing clean in the dental office with focus on the miscommunication of the dental staff especially the hygienist and dental assistant
• Recognize the mass of misinformation in the market for sterilization & disinfection protocols and what is defined as standard precautions vs. universal precautions
• To educate & promote strategies on implementing safe, effective sterilization and infection control interventions to ensure the health & safety of our patients and ourselves
