Explore cutting-edge restorative, implant, and digital dentistry at Esthetics in Excellence, an intimate, 3-day summit slated for April 2026 in Irvine, CA
When dental professionals come together in an intimate setting, learning goes deeper and connections last longer. That’s the environment DentalXP is fostering with Esthetics in Excellence, a clinical summit presented in partnership with Glidewell. Limited to 200 attendees, the 3-day event offers immersive education, hands-on training, and community building, taking place April 16–18, 2026, at Glidewell’s state-of-the-art facility in Irvine, CA.
With a focus on restorative, implant, and digital dentistry, the summit is designed to help clinicians harness emerging technologies—from intraoral scanning and photogrammetry to facial analysis and 3D printing. The theme, “Where Digital Precision Meets Human Expression,” centers on merging cutting-edge digital tools with artistry and emotional connection for esthetic excellence.
For Dr. Maurice Salama, cofounder of DentalXP, the experience will be unlike its larger, traditional dental counterparts. “This meeting’s going to be a little different than our past meetings because it’s going to be strongly prosthetic and restorative, with just a sprinkling of laboratory and surgical,”
Dr. Salama said. “It’s also a unique venue that I think people will love—we’re going to a modern, updated facility on the West Coast, where we haven’t been in a few years.” Dr. Salama noted that unlike some academies that carry high membership dues and exclusive rules of entry, DentalXP’s philosophy has always been about inclusivity. “We welcome everybody—assistants, hygienists, office staff, doctors, surgeons, restorative dentists, and lab technicians. Everybody has a place and nobody is looked down upon. People come as students and colleagues and leave as lifelong friends.”
A Stage for Renowned and Rising Voices
One of the hallmarks of DentalXP events has been the mix of internationally recognized leaders with fresh, emerging talent. This year’s lineup reflects that blend, with keynote lectures from Dr. Salama, Dr. Ed McLaren, and Dr. Pascal Magne, as well as a full roster of breakout sessions and lectures.
In addition to continuing education, attendees can look forward to a Glidewell laboratory tour, hands-on breakouts, exhibitor interactions, and evening social events. More importantly, they’ll find themselves learning and enjoying an event more comparable to a family reunion than a traditional dental meeting.
“The education is intense and cutting-edge,” Dr. Salama said, “but the style is laid-back and down-to-earth. There is no comparable society meeting.”
