It’s Back! Reserve Your Spot at 2022 Conference
Attend an esthetic-focused exhibition experience like no other and learn innovative techniques while earning CE credits at the AACD’s 38th Annual Scientifi c Session
I t’s been 2 years since the last AACD conference, and everyone agrees that it’s been 2 years too long. As the country returns to pre-pandemic activities, one very missed event has been the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) Annual Scientifi c Session, held annually at locations across the country for more than 3 decades. Looking forward, the AACD will present the 38th Annual Scientifi c Session on April 27–30, 2022, at Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, FL.
AACD is an all-inclusive program with an accreditation track, where attendees can maximize their CE value by attending hands-on sessions with the greatest minds in esthetic dentistry and the world’s best educators. Over the course of 4 days, doctors can expect to master the latest techniques, earn CE credits, and return to their patients reenergized with knowledge about the most innovative products in cosmetic dentistry.
“Personally, I feel there is no better education than live education, particularly ‘hands-on’ courses.”
- John Nosti, DMD, FAGD, FACE, FICOI
From Beast to Beauty One
of the highlights of the upcoming session will be “Beauty and the Beast: Crafting Beauty from a Worn Occlusion,” presented by John Nosti, DMD, FAGD, FACE, FICOI, and Jason Olitsky, DMD, AAACD.
“I will be joined by my great friend and Clinical Mastery Series speaking partner, Dr. Olitsky, and we will discuss treatment and long-term protection of worn smiles,” said Dr. Nosti, who practices full time with an emphasis on functional cosmetics, full-mouth rehabilitations, and TMJ dysfunction.
The Clinical Director of the Clinical Mastery Series, Dr. Nosti has co-authored and taught numerous programs on cosmetic dentistry and is also a faculty member of the Misch Institute for Oral Implantology. Dr. Olitsky is past president of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as Program Director for the Clinical Mastery Series.
Live, Hands-On Workshops
According to Dr. Nosti, many doctors fi nd themselves treating patients with worn occlusions on a daily basis, and these cases are both daunting and intimidating. “It is truly facing ‘The Beast’ and it’s imperative to understand the various types of wear present and the vital role occlusion plays in successful outcomes,” he explained. “We will dive into identifying the type of wear and reversal of this wear, resulting in a high cosmetic result—which is the ‘Beauty’ part of the course,” he explained.
“I am honored to be presenting and, personally, I feel there is no better education than live education, particularly hands-on courses,” Dr. Nosti said. “The AACD is a place where amazing practitioners come together to share the latest tips to help elevate patient care, and I have always felt it is an amazing conference to attend,” he added.
