For Dr. Resnik, who averages around 30 implants a month, the biggest benefit of using an implant planning and surgical guide design service like ITX PROS is having a second set of eyes on the scan and someone who is expertly trained to use all the tools that a 3D planning software has to offer.
“They are able to create an ideal wax-up based on neighboring teeth to ensure the implant is in the correct position for the restoration indicated. This is critical when it comes to anterior cases, as well as ensuring we have adequate restorative space,” he said.
A Same-Day Solution
For full-arch cases, the All-On-ITX protocol does the heavy lifting for Dr. Resnik by including bone-reduction guides, stackable surgical guides, and hybrid restorations. Patients can leave the office that same day with a finished provisional hybrid restoration.
Resnik International Live Surgery Boot Camp is holding a hands-on All-On-ITX course in the Dominican Republic where attendees will be completing 12 All-On-ITX cases using stackable guides from ITX PROS. Dr. Resnik has been working closely with ITX dentists to finalize the surgical and prosthetic plans.
