Building on the success of the AceroXT Original Crowns, the Acero 3S Crowns feature a shallow occlusal anatomy to preserve healthy tooth structure with less reduction. The Acero ES Esthetic Anterior Crowns are veneered with a durable white resin proven to be highly fracture-resistant.

“The Acero occlusal anatomy is very detailed, and cuspal heights are much better and much more like natural primary teeth,” said Dr. Scott Bradley Brown, who practices primarily in a hospital, caring for the youngest children with the highest dental caries rate. Dr. Brown switched to Acero Crowns a few years ago after a months-long comparison to the stainless steel crowns he had been using.

The crowns are labeled using the Universal Numbering System for easy identifi cation of the corresponding primary tooth. “The tooth numbering system allows staff who are newly trained in pediatric dentistry and also the experienced staff to quickly reach for the correct crown,” Dr. Brown said. “This is extremely critical in the operating room while treating the youngest patients. Time is of the essence when a child is having a general anesthetic.”

The stainless steel used in Acero Crowns is more substantial than competitors’, according to Dr. Brown, who lauded the product for continuous design, material science improvements, and “extremely competitive pricing.”
