Remin Pro
Versatile tooth cream combines fluoride, nanohydroxyapatite and xylitol to reverse demineralization

Find out why Sarah Clark, RDH, believes that VOCO’s Remin Pro: • Uses triple-action protection to protect against demineralization and relieve hypersensitivity • Provides an easy-to-use and great-tasting preventive treatment option for patients in a variety of cases
For patients with significant demineralization and hypersensitivity who have a higher caries risk, regular toothpaste just isn't going to cut it. That's why Remin Pro can be a great treatment option that allows these patients to remineralize quickly and fight the effects of excessive biofilm. I appreciate that I can use Remin Pro in a variety of cases and that it can be applied with a finger, cotton swab, toothbrush, or in a custom tray. In cases with more severe demineralization, such as when patients have an excessively dry mouth, I have them brush with Remin Pro and then use it in trays at night as a longer-contact treatment method. Remin Pro is also great for patients receiving periodontal therapy, as many of these treatments can increase hypersensitivity. Patients have told us that if they didn’t have Remin Pro, they would not have continued with the therapy they needed. I recently treated an orthodontics patient with heavy decalcification following bracket removal. After brushing with Remin Pro and using it in trays, their white spots faded. Remineralization occured in those areas and the patient’s hypersensitivity went away, which can be difficult to achieve. It was a huge win. Triple-Action PreventionRemin Pro has been ahead of the game in terms of its nano-hydroxyapatite (calcium and phosphate) technology, which in my opinion, blows other methods out of the water with how effective it is at remineralizing lesions. Paired with fluoride and xylitol, these 3 components work in unison to strengthen superficial enamel lesions, seal open dentinal tubules, promote acid resistance, and reduce the effects of harmful bacteria. Patient ApprovedAs Remin Pro is not a toothpaste, I always recommend that my patients with sensitivity issues or caries risk factors use Remin Pro as their primary toothpaste. While toothpastes are typically more abrasive, Remin Pro is smooth, easy to use, and tastes good. To me, ease of use is the most important aspect of a product when it comes to home care. Even if it's the best product in the world, if patients won't use it, it's not going to work. Remin Pro comes in a variety of flavors—mint, melon, and strawberry—and I’ve found that patients appreciate the options. For example, patients suffering from dry mouth symptoms may find mint flavors to be a bit harsh. When a product actually works for a patient and they enjoy it, they continue their treatment and it creates a newfound level of trust between patient and practitioner that impacts treatment significantly. For me, Remin Pro just checks off all the boxes—there isn’t one thing that I don't like about it.
