Excelsior allows you to rotate the image to any dimension and space. It's amazing how much bone has been lost to infection because it wasn’t visible without 3D imaging. Especially in endodontics, almost daily I find atypical pathology that I wouldn’t have discovered without Excelsior.

As founder of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, I’m a general dentist but I also move teeth. Before we start moving them, we need to know what the container is, where the teeth sit, and how much bone is around the teeth. Without Excelsior, I could potentially damage the roots. In sleep medicine, to evaluate the airway, which is a tube, we need to know the volume of the cylinder, which isn’t possible without 3D imaging.
