mpression taking presents many challenges—among them uncaptured teeth, gum tissue, and bone; runs and pulls at the gumline; and air bubbles. While some of these inaccuracies can be attributed to human error—such as patients not biting down hard enough, clinicians using the wrong-sized impression tray, or dental staff removing the tray improperly—it helps to start with a product known for making the job easy.
Keystone Tray Aways are single-use, disposable impression trays that can be used with alginate or other types of impression materials. Made from rigid, high-impact, FDA-approved styrene, they offer a consistent impression that is free of distortion or bite through. For patients who require implant treatment, Edentulous Tray Aways are single-use, perforated impression trays that can be easily drilled for implant impressions. Offered in small, medium, and large sizes, the trays are designed to be patient-friendly and allow for a perfect fit in one visit—without the use of an adhesive.
