LED curing light features smart technology, a collimated beam, and an ergonomic grip

Radii-Xpert LED Curing Light Considering that a smart, powerful, and easy-to-use curing light can significantly increase practice efficiency, improve outcomes, and cut down on potential patient discomfort during appointments, there's no reason to take a chance on a lower-quality product when it comes to this workhorse of the practice.

SDI’s Radii Xpert is a high-performance LED curing light that has been designed to consistently produce optimum polymerization for all light-cured materials, enabling high-quality restorations. One performance advantage of the Radii Xpert is that its light intensity remains consistent over clinically relevant distances.

“The consistent intensity ensures light will penetrate the underlying restorative with limited drop-off, giving you the confidence of a full cure to the depth of a restoration,” said Dan Carrington, Sales Manager for North America at SDI.

The success of a restoration depends on an even cure, and Radii Xpert’s uniform beam delivers an even energy distribution with reduced hot and cold spot variation. The light intensity of 1500 mW/cm2 over a 4mm aperture covers a wavelength range from 440 nm to 480 nm, making Radii Xpert an ideal choice for all commercially available composites, including bulk-fill restorations that require a deep cure.

“Radii Xpert delivers the right spectral distribution without the need for extended wavelengths, giving you a reliable cure for all composites,” said Carrington.

Precision Curing

Radii Xpert employs unique target-assist technology that allows operators to correctly position the light so they can be assured of the angulation before curing. The user activates the positioning light and releases once over the tooth, ensuring that curing only begins when the light is in position. An LCD display with a countdown timer eliminates estimation and provides accuracy during a curing cycle.

The Radii Xpert features an ergonomic design and 360° rotatable head that allows operators to easily access all restoration sites.

“Radii Xpert’s ergonomic design allows it to be held in a pencil or pistol grip to comfortably access all restoration sites while minimizing hand and arm fatigue,” said Carrington.

Top 3 Reasons to Go Xpert with Your Curing Light:

1. Target Assist: Target assist technology enables correct positioning of the light for confidence of the angulation before curing.

2. Collimated Beam: The collimated beam ensures light intensity is maintained on the restoration being cured.

3. Ergonomic Grip: Radii Xpert’s ergonomic design allows operators to comfortably access all restoration sites
