As a general dentist, I often encounter patients seeking orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. While there are many popular brands available, I have faced challenges with cases requiring multiple refinements and difficulties during attachment appointments. Recently, Clarity Aligners became available to general dentists, and I decided to try them in my practice to address these issues.
This is a typical case involving a patient who presented with a deep bite and maxillary and mandibular crowding. His primary concern was achieving straight teeth, which provided me with an ideal opportunity to test Clarity Aligners. The treatment consisted of 24 aligners over the course of 6 months.
One of my main frustrations with other aligner systems has been the attachment templates, which often lock onto the teeth and cause some attachments to debond during removal.
