Dental Product Shopper has heard from a few clinicians recently who are talking about the great flowability of Bisco’s CORE-FLO DC Lite. When it was evaluated by a team of DPS evaluators, several of the participating dentists commented on its viscosity. One of them noted that it has “nice flow, allowing wetting of the cavity wall.”
The folks at Bisco told us that CORE-FLO DC Lite was developed so that it self-levels, leaving no gaps at the margins.
We also recently spoke to Dr. Fred Peck, who has a practice in Cincinnati, OH. He actually participated in early testing of CORE-FLO DC Lite and brought it into his practice right after it was launched to the profession. In our conversation with Dr. Peck, he emphasized the flowability of the material. He noted that it “works well in areas that are deep, hard to access, and hard to visualize.” He also said that it “works great to block out undercuts, fill small areas of decay in a prep, and fill any type of void from other materials.”
