Doctor's Favorites: Unlock Your Practice's Full Potential

cerec primescan When it comes to restorative procedures, my team and I aim to make the process as painless as possible for patients. For alleviating pain associated with oral injections, I use either DentalVibe from Bing Innovations or VibraJect R3 from GoldenDent. We are able to administer injections without producing significant discomfort, which our patients appreciate.

For capturing in-office digital impressions, our office uses Dentsply Sirona's CEREC Primescan and CEREC MC X milling unit. Intraoral scanning with Primescan is simple and very quick, and as long as our preps are well designed with visible margins, the software will automatically mark margins and give us an accurate design proposal. Patients enjoy not needing any temporaries as it prevents the possibility of contamination.

periolase mvp-7Schick 33, also from Dentsply Sirona, delivers the best images of all the digital sensors we have used. Designed with patented imaging technology to offer the highest theoretical resolution in the industry, these sensors are used by our office daily and have helped us achieve excellent results.

PerioLase MVP-7 by Millennium Dental Technologies allows us to treat periodontal disease in-office and offer techniques that keep patients healthy. Those who have had conventional periodontal surgery and now go through LANAP are astonished with the relatively painless results and fast recovery.

My staff and I have found that conventional x-rays are insufficient for taking endodontic images. By taking 4 bitewings and a cone beam using GALILEOS ComfortPLUS by Dentsply Sirona, we're able to see so much more. I often use the cone beam with CEREC for guided implants. Complications can occur without guides, so patients benefit from our ability to place implants without hassle.

When used to its full potential, dental technology can be a great way to drive more profit into the practice—but that’s not all it can do. For the full list of dental technology that unlocks your practice's potential, click here.
