GUIDOR easy-graft CLASSIC
Syringed directly into the bone defect, the bone-grafting material hardens into a stable, porous scaffold in about one minute, eliminating the need for a membrane in most cases
Predictability matters at every stage of implant therapy—from imaging to implant placement, and especially when it comes to bone regeneration. To restore adequate bone volume prior to implant placement, clinicians need a reliable, easy-to-use grafting material with accelerated integration capabilities so they can confidently move forward with treatment.
A patented, 100% synthetic bone-grafting solution from Sunstar, GUIDOR easy-graft CLASSIC is a fully resorbable bone substitute that offers stability, osteoconductivity, and controlled placement through easy-to-handle, unit-dose applications. A unique combination of components makes it easy to prep for, dispense, and shape the grafting material in the socket.
Simple Syringe Delivery
GUIDOR easy-graft is the first particulate bone-grafting material to be syringed directly into a bone defect. When its beta-tricalcium phosphate granules, which are coated with a biodegradable polymer, are mixed with the liquid activator BioLinker, it forms a permeable, moldable scaffold that hardens within about one minute of delivery. The stable, porous nature of this scaffold is key to initiating bone regeneration.
Ideally suited for ridge preservation, implant packing after tooth extraction, and other dental and maxillofacial indications, the material also contains no substances of animal or human origin—satisfying patients who prefer the use of alloplastic materials during the procedure.
Along with eliminating the guesswork regarding which liquid (such as blood or saline) to mix with the granules, GUIDOR easy-graft removes the need for a dental membrane in most cases. The system itself functions as a membrane by creating a protective barrier between soft tissue and the bone cavity for enhanced healing.
Predictable Clinical Results in 4 Stages
1. GUIDOR easy-graft includes BioLinker liquid activator and beta-tricalcium granules with a polymer coating.
2. When combined, BioLinker softens the polymer coating, creating a sticky surface that can be compressed and shaped.
3. When in contact with body fluids, BioLinker is flushed out of the material.
4. GUIDOR easy-graft hardens in approximately one minute into a stable, porous scaffold of interconnected granules.
