3 New Products from Vista Dental

Being a 'New Product junkie' of sorts, I am always on the lookout for the latest dental products, equipment, and services. So when I just happened to browse over to the Vista Dental Products web site, I was pretty stoked to see a page on the site devoted solely to their company's New Products. But when I scrolled down the page and actually read-up on the products, I was even more amped because of just how cool some of those products were. And as New Products are kind of 'my thing,' I figured I would share with you what I found.Ergo organizational tool from Vista Dental

Ergo

Think of this like a 'caddy for your endo files.' Ergo is a sleek tool for the organization and cleaning of endodontic hand and rotary files that helps improve efficiency and ergonomics of routine endodontic therapy. Ergo features two autoclavable foam sections: one is for the organization of hand files, and one is for the storage and cleaning of rotary instruments. Equipped with five spaces to accommodate a complete sequence of rotary files while allowing for a quick single hand change of file. Two millimetric rulers allow right or left handed users to easily measure and set the rubber stopper to working length while the flexible, autoclavable bracelet is comfortable to wear and can be adjusted to fit any wrist.

Dripless Syringe

You can file this one under the section of 'I have no idea how that even works but it's very cool.' The world’s only Dripless Syringe (patent pending) features anti-drip technology, greatly reducing the risk of bleach stains, damage to skin, eyes and oral mucosa, and cost no more than a standard irrigating syringe. The Dripless Syringe also features a unique color coded plunger to quickly identify NaOCl, and color coded ring for improved visibility in magnified fields.

EndoSafe Plus

Endosafe from Vista Dental This one seems like an 'endo must have' to me. EndoSafe Plus (patent pending) is an easy to use device that provides simultaneous irrigation and evacuation. Irrigating solutions are delivered coronally and evacuated apically, eliminating vapor lock and pulling solutions to the critical last few millimeters of the canal. Safe, negative pressure delivery minimizes the risk of apical extrusion and potential for sodium hypochlorite accident. This lightweight, cordless, battery operated device can be easily transported from operatory to operatory. Three flow rate settings provides a consistent exchange of active endodontic solutions and flushing of debris. The device features quick-connect, 20 mL reservoirs that are easily filled with the medicament of one’s choice.
