Are you heading to the Greater New York Dental Meeting? If so, Kerr Dental is one booth you’ll definitely want to visit this year. Kerr is not only kicking off a 125th anniversary celebration (#givingsmiles125) at the show, but also introducing the next innovation in endodontics—a brand-new irrigation technology.
“This irrigation device is unlike anything else the dental world has seen before,” Kerr’s Donavan Dichter told Dental Product Shopper. While he can’t reveal more details before the big debut, he said dentists should stop by Kerr’s Crystal Palace, a 150-ft. glass lobby near the entrance of the Javitz Center, to get their first look and learn from the best in the profession. “There will be plenty of opportunities for general dentists to enhance their skills, see the latest innovations in endo, and learn from KOLs,” Dichter added.
Here are some of the program highlights:
-The program kicks off on Sunday, Nov. 28, with three endodontics lectures from Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan throughout the day, as well as a live dentistry demonstration with Dr. Brian Harris.
-On Monday morning, Dr. Garry Bey gets hands on in a root canal disinfection and obturation workshop, as well as a Mastery Series workshop in the afternoon.
-On Tuesday morning., Dr. Brett Gilbert will present on hot topics in endo as well as NiTi instrumentation. Dr. Bey and Dr. James Olmstead will also present on endodontics throughout the day.
-Dr. Olmstead will conclude Kerr’s endodontics program on Wednesday with a hands-on course in biochemical irrigation, rotary instruments and obturation.
Did we mention there will be a cupcake break each day at 1:00 p.m. at the Kerr Booth, #4216? After all, this is an anniversary celebration!
