Sidexis 4, the latest version of Dentsply Sirona’s imaging processing software, seamlessly integrates Schick 33 intraoral sensors into Sidexis software. Giving users access to Schick 33’s enhancement tools provides the opportunity to display a patient’s images side by side to enhance diagnosis, customize treatment planning, and patient education. The sensor’s second-generation technology makes it easier to detect anatomy, make diagnoses, and show the images to patients all on one screen, without switching between technologies. Being able to compare 2D and 3D images, camera shots, and face scans in the same lightbox saves time by facilitating efficiency in diagnosis. A feature called Timeline provides an overview of a patient’s entire history at once. Measurement and annotation tools can be used to make patient records more complete. The Sidexis 4 software communicates with the Teneo treatment unit from Dentsply Sirona, including the automatic headrest setting and ApexLocator. Workflow is more structured and intuitive, and ties together the technologies you can use for implantology, and treating sleep apnea and TMD.
