V-Posil Light Fast and X-Light Fast are two syringeable impression materials from VOCO America that can be used in a variety of techniques, including one- and two-step putty-wash impressioning, one-step using a foil, one-step using dual viscosities, and for relining impressions or fabricating full and partial dentures.
These additions to the V-Posil line flow without slumping and provide excellent color contrast. The setting times for the light/wash and heavy/tray offer up to 2 minutes of adjustable working time, giving practitioners more control over the procedure. They also feature an abbreviated 2 minutes of thermoactivated s
et time, which saves more time for both the dentist and the patient. Their rapid “snap set” also saves additional time and minimizes potential distortion, resulting in fewer retakes.
V-Posil Light Fast and X-Light Fast have high hydrophilicity, which displaces fluids and enables improved contact with hard and soft tissues and results highly precise impressions, as well as more accurate stone models. Exceptional tear strength and elastic recovery ensures that the impression is more stable during and after removal. The post-set hydrophilicity enables lab technicians to make better fitting restorations.
