I just watched an interesting video about VOCO’s Rebilda Post GT system, marveling at the concept the whole time. Rebilda is a new kind of glass fiber post for core build up that is available as a single post (Rebilda Post) or as a spreadable “set.” The Rebilda Post GT post system is compatible with every kind of root canal shape. Available in four different sizes/width diameters (0.8-1.4), they are bundled in color coded sleeves. Each siz
e comes with a certain number of posts bundled together. Basically, after preparing and filling the root canal with Rebuilda DC, a dual-cured composite, the post bundle is plunged into the filling, separated to fan them out, and then briefly light cured. After cutting down the ends of the posts, the core build-up and curing processes are completed, and voila, with no extra drilling or preparation, the core build up is reinforced in very little time.
