e-on SELF-ETCH ADHESIVE is an ethanol/water-based dental adhesive that bonds to dentin and to cut enamel. e-on SELF-ETCH ADHESIVE has been designed to work with light-cured, self-cured, and dual-cured composite materials. As with other mild, self-etch adhesives, e-on SELF-ETCH ADHESIVE can benefit from previous enamel etching with phosphoric acid for improved retention. This is not required for general clinical bonding procedures when bonding to dentin or cut enamel; however, phosphoric acid etching is required when bonding to uncut enamel.
