Oravital is a safe, easy, and noninvasive 5-step approach to diagnosing and treating periodontal disease and oral malodor. An intraoral swab sample is sent to a testing lab for microbial analysis. Depending on the results, Oravital antiseptic rinse (offered in sodium chlorite or cetylpypridinium formulations) or antibiotic rinse will be prescribed for 2 weeks of use to return the intraoral environment to a proper balance of healthy bacteria.
