Identium, a vinylsiloxanether (VSXE) impression material, has a new chemistry for a one-step impression technique. It is offered in three different viscosities—medium, heavy, and light. Fast sets are also available. Identium Medium is intended for implants and fixed impressions, but is also suitable for crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneer fabrication. Identium Heavy is a high-viscosity tray material for the one-step impression technique (in combination with Identium Light) for the fabrication of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, removable dentures, and implants.
