CEREC Optispray from Sirona Dental Systems LLC is a scanning preparation spray that is designed to simplify the acquisition of digital impressions. This spray allows for easier and more precise optical impressions and the most esthetic and functional computer-aided design/manufacturing produced dental restorations possible. It is an all-in-1 spray that replaces conventional 2-component systems, so no scan powders or liquids are required. It can be applied very thinly allowing for the camera to acquire very detailed images of the preparation, while the blue color indicates the area that has been sprayed. The flexible nozzle can be bent and rotated to the chosen position as well as prevent blockages.
