DiscoveryPad includes a new adjustable focus wireless intraoral camera, which features an adjustable focal length from macro to full smile. It also features a 16-image onboard memory, user-replaceable lithium-ion battery, 6 bright LED lights, and a sealed fog-free optical lens. With the integrated imaging software, images can be saved directly into the patient’s profile. The dentist can then select saved images and display single, double, quad, or slide show for case presentation. The DiscoveryPad employs wireless SD technology, allowing the dentist to wirelessly import and export captured images between any device with an SD memory slot in the office. All of this is achieved without the heavy investment of putting computers in each operatory.
