Introducing the Soft BiteBlock from Richmond Dental & Medical
Globally, there are thousands of patients that undergo general anesthesia daily, requiring the use of a bite block to protect the patient’s tongue, teeth, and the airway device, such as an endotracheal tube or laryngeal mask airway during emergence.
Hand rolling and taping gauze outside of sanitary environments like break rooms and kitchens is a common practice today. Hard bite blocks can be used, but they tend to have a higher risk of tooth damage.
Richmond Dental and Medical has developed the Soft BiteBlock that is individually packaged, simple and safe to use, and improves patient care.
