Perio Protect^® combines professional cleanings with non-invasive tray delivery of medication to better manage gum disease. Dental patients can use the Perio Tray^® by Perio Protect at home, between office visits.

The Perio Tray is not like the tray used for bleaching. It has a custom-formed seal that varies in accordance to the scope and magnitude of the patient’s disease and ensures an even distribution of medication down into the infected area below the gums.

Now available for use in custom Perio Trays is PeriogelX, which offers the same 1.7% hydrogen peroxide formula as the original Periogel but with the addition of xylitol, a naturally occurring alcohol commonly used in sugar-free products.
