A 3rd-generation dentist—and longtime user of NSK handpieces—shares why the new Ti-Max Z99L has become her go-to handpiece for everything restorative
Dr. Samaddar is a 3rd-generation dentist who found her passion for dentistry early in life, helping out in her mother’s dental office when she was just 7 years old. She completed her undergraduate studies at DePauw University in Indiana, and went on to graduate from Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Samaddar did an oral and maxillofacial internship at DC General Hospital and an implant residency at Howard University College of Dentistry before going into private practice. In 2008, she opened the South Capitol Smile Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Samaddar is an active member of the American Dental Association, DC Academy of General Dentistry, Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, and DC Dental Society. She was recently chosen as national spokesperson for the Academy of General Dentistry.

Comfort is key both for clinicians and patients, and noise from handpieces can be disturbing. One of the things dentists worry about is prolonged exposure to noise and its effect on our hearing. I’ve found minimal sound and vibration with the Ti-Max Z99L.
A Career Booster
