ACTIVA BioACTIVE Bulk Flow is the latest addition to the ACTIVA Patient Treatment System. Pulpdent aimed to develop a material with all the benefits of its flagship product, ACTIVA BioACTIVE RESTORATIVE, but with a self-leveling viscosity and even better adaptation.
"I use ACTIVA BioACTIVE Bulk Flow in high-risk areas, for quick occlusals, deep fillings, and in back-to-back restorations," Dr. Hatfield shared. "Additionally, it doesn't have much shrinkage stress, which is awesome." Yet another benefit, he added, is great polishability.
Bioactivity for Long-Term Health
For Dr. Hatfield, ACTIVA products' main appeal is the built-in bioactive technology. ACTIVA chemistry supports the natural remineralization process, with ionic activity defending against the conditions that cause secondary caries and restorative failure.
