A Versatile Workhorse
The Gemini EVO laser allows dentists to use the dual wavelengths of 810 nm and 980 nm together or individually, providing access to a total of 3 wave-length modes. Adjustable tip illumination provides better visibility at the surgical site, while 3 photobiomodulation adapters in 3-, 7-, and 25-mm sizes cover small treatment areas around the lips, localized spot treatments for aphthous and herpetic ulcers, and large spots such as the area around the TMJ.
“In my practice, we’ve used the Gemini EVO laser for just about everything,” Dr. Kaminer added. “It’s also a frequent part of our hygiene treatment,” he said. Every hygienist in his practice is laser-certified, so the Gemini EVO laser is often used in a variety of hygiene procedures, especially when controlling periodontal disease.
Simple by Design
Designed for ease of use, the Gemini EVO laser has 16 preset procedures divided into 3 different categories, which helps minimize user error and boost efficiency. A unique Dashboard feature allows doctors to track ROI, access usage statistics, view procedure reports, and more. “It’s really cool to have it keep track of revenue,” said Dr. Jaimee Morgan. “This is something that’s going to allow you to provide more and better services for your patients, and you’ll actually recoup the money you invested.”
