Combining etching, priming, and bonding in one bottle, ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL owes its success largely because it’s the first universal adhesive for all direct and indirect restorations. Its unique formulation of ultra-mild acidity—with a pH of greater than 3—also allows it to be compatible with all light-, dual-, and self-cured resin composites and cement materials.
Flexible and Versatile
ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL offers the flexibility for total-, self-, and selective etch procedures. The unique formulation contains MDP, which means ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL does not require etching with phosphoric acid to bond. MDP is an adhesion-promoting monomer that has been proved to provide exceptional stability in a chemical bond over time. The MDP enhances durability and also allows ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL to bond to all substrates, including zirconia and other metal substrates. In addition, the product displays high shear bond strength to dentin.
Taking convenience and performance a step further, ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL is a light-cured product, and it bonds in the presence of moisture. This capability means ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL can be used on wet, dry, or even moist tooth structure. The product’s unique chemistry allows the adhesive layer to become hydrophobic after polymerization, which results in enhanced durability over time.
Another plus for performance lies in the low film thickness displayed with ALL-BOND UNIVERSAL. With a thickness of less than 10 microns, the adhesive can easily flow into etched surfaces, ensuring a proper fit for indirect restorations. Additionally, there is no need for a separate activator, making it a true, one-bottle solution—and one that also requires no refrigeration.
