Overview

This course focuses on clinical workflows for implant planning using digital imaging and AI assisted tools.

Through case based discussion, participants will explore how integrating 2D imaging, CBCT, and intraoral scans supports anatomical assessment, restorative planning, and surgical decision making.

The course also addresses when guided surgery may be appropriate and how digital planning can improve consistency across the care team.

Case demonstrations will reference DTX Studio™ Clinic as one example of a planning environment, while maintaining a platform agnostic clinical focus.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe an end to end digital workflow for implant planning from diagnosis through surgery
  • Understand how AI assisted tools can support anatomical assessment and treatment planning decisions
  • Integrate 2D imaging, CBCT, and intraoral scans into a cohesive planning process
  • Evaluate when and how to incorporate guided surgery into implant workflows
  • Transition from traditional planning methods to digitally supported, team based workflows
