Paul M. Kaplan, DMD, MS
Dr. Kaplan has been practicing as an endodontist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for over 24 years. His favorite dental product is Coltene’s HyFlex EDM rotary files, which he evaluated for DPS in 2021. He uses these files on almost every case and is impressed at their ease of use and phenomenal effectiveness.
Dr. Kaplan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and received his specialty certificate in endodontics from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While at the university, he was awarded a second Master of Science degree in the Oral Sciences for pioneering research he completed in the field of Digital Subtraction Radiography.
He is involved in the academic arena of dentistry as well and served as clinical instructor and professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he taught the post-graduate endodontic residents. Dr. Kaplan is a recipient of many honors and awards. He has been selected nationally as America’s Top Dentist in the field of endodontics for the past 18 years and has been honored locally as a Rhode Island and Massachusetts Top Endodontist on multiple occasions.
