The edentulous population continues to grow nationally as well as globally. Advances in technologies and techniques have now enabled dental professionals to provide predictable solutions to these patients, thereby improving their function, esthetics, and comfort.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop a restorative driven digital workflow for treatment planning, surgery, and prosthetics for the edentulous patient. This is accomplished by utilizing an interdisciplinary team approach incorporating the latest technologies.
- Incorporate digital workflow that merges the restorative teams into a very synergetic partnership that minimizes risk, greatly reduces required chair-time and produces a pre-operatively planned, well executed case
- Identify proper abutment and attachment selection, and the procedures for chairside pickup of implant overdenture attachments.
