In the increasingly crowded world of dental restorative materials, it can be challenging to pinpoint products that will actually live up to their hype. But Parkell's aptly named HyperFIL+ Dual-Cure Bulk-Fill composite is packed with features designed to set clinicians up for success. Plus, it follows in the very successful footsteps of its predecessor, HyperFIL Bulk-Fill, a proven workflow staple that’s been a practice go-to for more than a decade. A next-generation material, HyperFIL+ features zirconia nanofillers for improved mechanical strength and wear resistance, as well as optimum esthetics, shade matching, and polishability.

Confident Curing

HyperFIL+ combines the best of both worlds: a light cure that promotes surface hardness, strength, and polishability, and a chemical self-cure that ensures total restoration polymerization, reduced shrinkage, better cavity prep adaptation, and improved marginal seal. This dual-cure feature effectively erases concerns of possible uncured or undercured margins. Self-curing composites promote a more controlled shrinkage and polymerize toward the prep’s base and internal walls, a feature that can result in increased protection against microleakage and postop sensitivity. With an unlimited depth of cure, clinicians can place the composite to any depth without compromising the restoration’s strength or esthetics, ensuring complete polymerization even in the most challenging cases.

No More Layering

Additionally, HyperFIL+ Dual-Cure Bulk-Fill composite allows preps to be placed with a single layer, eliminating the time spent with tedious incremental layering. It also saves chair time—a two-fold benefit that can boost patient comfort as well as practice efficiency. Highly radiopaque and polishable, HyperFIL+ adapts well to a wide range of clinical scenarios—from a large posterior restoration with a deep proximal box to a complex anterior case.

Available in both a 2.5-mL hand-dispensed syringe and a 10-mL gun-dispensed cartridge, HyperFIL+ is compatible with all Parkell bonding agents, as well as many dual-cure compatible adhesive systems.
