For DentiMax, innovation is about simplifying operations while enhancing diagnostic confidence. That philosophy came into sharper focus with the recent launch of the DentiMax Pro Sensor alongside continued expansion of the cloud-based practice management platform, DentiMax Flow.

“We’re trying to streamline everything for the practice,” said Alicia Dieujuste, Managing Director of DentiMax Software, noting the goal to provide tech-forward solutions that are affordable and accessible.

Precision & Comfort

The DentiMax Pro Sensor was engineered to deliver exceptional image quality—even at low exposure levels—as well as comfort, durability, and seamless integration. “The image quality of this sensor is amazing,” said Micah Huish, VP of Support for DentiMax Imaging. “We’ve received a lot of really positive feedback from the practices that have installed it.”

Patient comfort was prioritized. The sensor’s clipped-corner design eliminates sharp edges that can irritate sensitive areas of the mouth.

“The new DentiMax Pro is hands down the most comfortable sensor we've ever used,” said Dr. Kent Stapley, who practices in Mesa, AZ, and attended the company's annual Dental Tech Summit in November.

Durability is built into every detail. A Kevlar-reinforced cable protects against bites and repeated bending, while the high-performance polyetherimide thermoplastic housing resists fractures or delamination if dropped or compressed. Available in sizes 2, 1.5, and 1—with the 1.5 featuring a 45-degree cord exit optimized for vertical bitewings—the sensor integrates seamlessly with most major imaging platforms without disrupting existing workflows.

Streamlined Practice Management

Launched in 2024, DentiMax Flow gives teams secure access to schedules, patient records, billing, and reporting from any internet-connected device. Recent enhancements reflect the company’s emphasis on accessibility, scalability, ease of use, and affordability.

“Dental offices are getting squeezed by all the technology they need to run their practices,” Dieujuste said. “If you own a practice, I’d guess you’re paying for at least 20 monthly subscriptions—that’s a lot. Our goal has been not only to make our software affordable, but also to wrap as much technology into the platform as we can so that you don’t need all these separate tools.”

Today, DentiMax Flow includes online scheduling, 2-way texting, online patient registration, customizable forms, and intra-office messaging, plus built-in email, KPI tracking, digital referrals, and digital signature capabilities—eliminating the need for multiple third-party tools. The platform also supports secure PHI sharing through DrFirst, AI-assisted x-ray diagnosis via Pearl, and integrations with Mango Voice and Gusto for VoIP and payroll management. Emerging features, such as voice-activated perio charting, continue to push efficiency further.
