When it comes to clear aligners, patients can easily fall into a Goldilocks trap. On one end of the spectrum are name-brand aligners distributed through a doctor's office that come with an expensive price tag. On the other end are direct-to-consumer aligner options that aim to streamline the experience for patients and make treatment more affordable, but they don't consistently include live doctor care. Both scenarios breed an inconsistent patient experience.
Bridging the gap is TAG—The Aspen Group—with its first consumer product, Motto Clear Aligners, available at nearly 1,000 Aspen Dental offices nationwide. Motto offers the best of both worlds: an affordable clear aligner that's convenient for patients and delivered under a doctor's care.

Tray One on Day One
The Motto workflow starts with a digital scan that allows doctors to evaluate the complexity of the patient's malocclusion and for patients to see what their smile could look like after treatment. Once patients accept treatment, a 3D-printed starter tray is fabricated in the office so they can leave that day with a customized tray and complimentary whitening kit.

A New Generation of Dentists
Many new doctors leave dental school eager to start working with technology like clear aligners, but often, they have limited experience in the space. TAG aims to support these doctors as they develop their skills in orthodontics, and an important part of that support is providing doctors and their teams with training on the most advanced technology and products.
