One Shade Is All You Need
OMNICHROMA’s Smart Chromatic Technology allows dentists to reduce composite inventory and do away with shade guides by using structural color to match any shade from A1 to D4 in just one application. The uniformly sized, supra-nano spherical fillers amplify the exact wavelengths of light needed to blend in with the patient’s surrounding dentition and also give the material exceptional handling, polishability, and strength.
By slimming down choices to a single shade, OMNICHROMA simplifies procedures, leads to less composite waste, and saves inventory space and money. “The universal nature of this composite made it easy to save time,” said one DPS evaluator, who reported great success with all cases involving anterior teeth (Classes III, IV, V) and Class V posterior teeth. “I am very impressed with this composite,” said another after performing approximately 150 restorations with OMNICHROMA. “It has given me great esthetics in every restoration I have done, no matter what the color of the tooth. OMNICHROMA is a game changer.”
OMNICHROMA’s flowable formulation, OMNICHROMA FLOW, likewise provides a single esthetic choice that matches any tooth shade. In addition, its high strength and wear resistance make it suitable for a wide range of indications beyond cavity lining and minor restorations, giving clinicians the freedom of choice for nearly all direct restorations. After using OMNICHROMA FLOW for a few weeks, one DPS evaluator proclaimed, “It’s amazing. One composite matches different shades. I love it.”
OMNICHROMA FLOW’s syringe packaging also ensures that the composite is easy to dispense and place precisely, helping keep procedures quick and efficient, while its low polymerization shrinkage and high stain and wear resistance mean that restorations will remain durable and esthetic for a long time.
Bond with Confidence
Tokuyama Universal Bond
When you need a true universal bonding agent, look no further than Tokuyama Universal Bond, which is designed to be fully compatible with light-, self-, and dual-cured composite materials. It offers high bond strength to polymerizable resin material (adhesive resin cement, acrylic resin, and composite resin) as well as indirect restorative materials such as porcelain, zirconia, alumina, precious and nonprecious metals, and resin materials, including inorganic filler.
Tokuyama Universal Bond’s 2-component system can be used with self-etch, selective-etch, and total-etch techniques and for both direct and indirect restorations. Its self-curing formulation does not require additional activators or primers, offers a quick and easy application without the need to agitate, light cure, or wait, and has virtually no postop sensitivity, making it ideal for situations where speed is important.
“Overall, it shaved time off of my composite restorations—I didn’t think that was still possible,” one DPS evaluator noted. “It streamlined workflow on direct composite restorations, particularly when multiple teeth were involved,” concluded another. “Removing the need to light cure was very helpful with regard to treatment of patients who have limited ability to tolerate chairside treatment, especially pedo patients,” stated a third.
Bond Force
Bond Force, a single-component, 7th-generation, self-etching, lightcured bonding agent that displays high bond strength after a single application and 10-second cure time. Because only one application is required, it is less technique sensitive than other bonding agents.
Designed for bonding of light- or dual-cured materials to cut/uncut enamel and dentin, Bond Force possesses self-leveling technology that allows for a uniform adhesive layer. It also releases fluoride and is available in unit doses, a 2-mL pen, or 5-mL bottle.
Estelite: A Composite for Every Application
Featuring Tokuyama’s revolutionary spherical filler technology, the Estelite family of composites offer superior esthetic results, whether placing bulk fill or recreating the smallest details.
Estelite Sigma Quick
With indications including veneers and diastema closure, Estelite Sigma Quick is clearly designed for use front and center in the esthetic zone. At the same time, its high wear resistance and low shrinkage give it the strength needed for posterior restorations as well. The material’s 90-second working time and 10-second curing time come from Tokuyama’s patented Radical Amplified Photopolymerization (RAP) technology and, along with its excellent handling, allow for full, precise sculpting before quick curing. Twenty shades using Tokuyama’s light-diffusing spherical filler technology give dentists a full palette of colors to optimize shade matching to surrounding teeth.
Estelite Universal Flow
Available in 3 viscosities (high, medium, and super low) to provide clinicians with the ideal flow for a wide range of indications, Estelite Universal Flow has a higher filler content than traditional flowables and offers the benefits expected from less viscous composites, such as great cavity adaptation and easy handling, without compromising strength.
The easily extruded, nonsticky material has minimal stringiness and, according to DPS evaluators, sticks well to tooth and composites while leaving restorations void-free. The results are consistently strong restorations, lower wear and abrasion, and enhanced patient satisfaction. With 12 shades to choose from, each adapting to a range of colors, the flowable composite blends with surrounding tooth color to render margins invisible and create natural-looking restorations.
Here’s what some DPS evaluators had to say:
• “This will completely change my Class I technique, which is impressive since I’ve been practicing for 36 years.”—Dr. Francis Jacobyansky
• “This is my favorite product reviewed thus far!”—Eric Bellis, DDS
Estelite Bulk Fill Flow
With Estelite Bulk Fill Flow, Tokuyama has created an easy-toplace, flowable bulk fill material that delivers simpler restorations with superior final results, without the need for additional layers or composites. By incorporating spherical filler technology, it delivers higher shade matching, opacity, and glossiness for more natural-looking restorations, while at the same time possessing higher compressive and flexural strength.
Estelite Bulk Fill Flow requires no capping layer for restorations up to 4 mm, and, because of its high translucency at placement, the material cures to the bottom of a 4-mm deep restoration in 10 seconds. These qualities, in addition to its easy polishability, translate into less chair time. The 5 available shades blend across a spectrum of different natural tooth colors for enhanced esthetics.
Here’s what some DPS evaluators had to say:
• “It’s a great one-step technique for routine restorative dentistry with good adaptation, strength, and overall acceptable shade matching.”—Benjamin Schwartz, DDS
• “It was so easy to use with perfect adaptation in cavity and not much shrinkage.”—Liljana Petrova, DDS
Estelite Omega
Specifically designed for premium polychromatic restorations (layering), Estelite Omega allows dentists to customize hue, chroma, and value to create results that mirror natural teeth. Whether used in a Class IV restoration, composite veneer, or diastema closure, Estelite Omega provides superb handling and esthetics, allowing you to recreate the smallest details for each individual patient’s smile. A simple system of 11 shades corresponding to enamel, dentin, bleach effects, and translucency enables precise building and matching to a custom shade guide. High flexural and compressive strength, along with exceptional polishability and gloss retention, ensure that your work lasts.
Premium Patient Satisfaction
Whether you’re performing denture relines, addressing patient sensitivity, or repairing ceramic restorations, Tokuyama has products that will help ensure happy patients.
Sofreliner Tough
Solve patients’ denture woes in one short, mess-free chairside reline process. Self-curing silicone-based Sofreliner Tough reline material provides patient comfort and enduring satisfaction for up to 2 years with its Medium formulation or up to 1.5 years with Soft. With consistent softness, minimal degradation, superior stain and odor resistance, and excellent adhesion to the denture, it is suitable for relining upper, lower, partial, or full dentures, providing long-lasting and improved suction. Automatic mixing tips save time and minimize waste, and, unlike other silicone liners, the borders are durable and easy to trim, making working with Sofreliner Tough as positive for the dentist as the results are for the patient.
Rebase III
When a hard denture reline is needed, Rebase III offers a fast, single-visit solution. Launched in 2021 as the next-generation chairside hard denture reline material, Rebase III is suitable for denture repair or border extension. It mixes quickly, easily, and with few bubbles, and it can be applied immediately after mixing as a thin wash layer. The methacrylate–free material employs an advanced monomer composition and has little to no odor or taste. It resists pores and bacteria buildup for maximum patient satisfaction. With strong adhesion to the denture and increased flexural strength, Rebase III is designed for a denture fit that lasts.
Shield Force Plus
Shield Force Plus’s Double Block Technology provides 2 layers of protection against sensitivity: first, by penetrating the dentinal tubules for immediate pain relief, and second, by forming a barrier to protect dentin from further abrasion for up to 3 years. Best of all, it achieves both goals in a single, 30-second, 1-step application. The green color, which dries clear, makes the material easy to place accurately, while the immediate effect can reduce the need for anesthetic use. When applied under a restoration, Shield Force Plus can increase bond strength and help seal marginal areas and minimize or eliminate postop sensitivity.
EsteCem II
From ceramic repair to cementation of metal posts, EsteCem II is the universal dual-cured resin cement that does it all. Compatible with all restorative materials, it provides superior self-etch adhesion to both retentive and non-retentive surfaces for enhanced strength. No activators or primers are needed, and its 3-second tack cure makes cleanup quick and easy. Used with Tokuyama’s Universal Bond, its application saves on chair time and inventory. Minimal water absorption and 4 shades resist marginal discoloration and enhance esthetics.
