The Traverse Chair eases various limitations and challenges faced in the operatory, including providing care to taller patients, being a tall dental care provider, or having to work in a smaller-sized dental operatory. The Traverse Chair’s third hydraulic cylinder allows for nearly a foot of adjustability behind the patient. This traversing feature allows clinicians to enhance their ergonomic positioning at the 12 o’clock position for improved direct and indirect dentistry.

According to Engle, it is the only company that manufactures a fully programmable, 10.25-inch forward/ backward hydraulic chair that allows the seat to move forward and backward.
